Reading Activities is a set of 29 ready-to-print reading and comprehension activities for the classroom. Pick one, model it on the whiteboard with the class, then print an A4 PDF worksheet for every pupil. They work with any book, text or topic - from blackout poetry and hexagonal thinking to emotion graphs and point-evidence-explain - and it is free to start. Every one now has a page of its own with the lesson written up: how to run it, what usually goes wrong, and which year groups it suits.
What reading activities are included?

Are the worksheets printable?
Yes - each activity builds a PDF worksheet that opens in a new tab, so you can model it on the board then print a copy for every pupil.
Can I use these with any book?
Yes - the activities are blank and editable, so they work with any class reader, text or topic across primary and secondary.
