House Points is a class points board and house points tracker built for the classroom whiteboard. Every pupil gets a card; tap it to award a point and the whole class sees a full-screen celebration. Points save to your class automatically, houses get their own colours, and a mis-tap takes one press of Undo to fix.
Most house point systems live on a wall chart or a tally on the corner of the whiteboard — easy to smudge, easy to forget, and reset every time the board gets wiped. This keeps the running totals on screen instead: a live points board the class can see, with the celebration doing the motivating for you. The moment a point lands, the pupil's name fills the screen with confetti — which is exactly the bit a sticker chart can't do.
It works for individual merits and for a whole house point system. Give each child a house colour and their card carries it on the board, so individual points visibly build into the house race across the term. Sort the board by name for the register view, or by points when the class wants to see the leaderboard.
Everything saves to your class automatically — no export, no spreadsheet. Totals are waiting next lesson, next week and next term, on whichever whiteboard or laptop you sign in from.
How does the House Points board work?
Pick a class and every pupil gets their own card on the board. Tap a card to award a point — the class sees a full-screen celebration and the total updates instantly.
Can I track houses or teams as well as individual pupils?
Yes. Give each pupil a house colour and their card carries it on the board, so individual points build up into house totals across the class.
Are points saved between lessons?
Yes — every point saves to your class automatically, so the totals are waiting for you next lesson, next week and next term.
What happens if I tap the wrong pupil?
Press Undo in the top right to take the last point straight back.
Can I sort the points board?
Yes — sort the board by name A to Z or by points high to low, straight from the header.
