Certificate Maker — printable award certificates for the classroom

A free-to-try certificate maker for teachers

Pick one of six certificate styles, type what the award is for, and add your school name, logo and signatures. Those are remembered on your computer, so you set them up once in September and they're still there in July.

The useful bit: leave the name blank and every certificate prints with a proper ruled writing line. Set how many copies you want, print the stack, and fill the names in as you hand them out on a Friday. Type a name instead if you only want the one. The PDF is A4 landscape, printed sharp, with nothing of ours on it — it's your school's certificate.

What it's good for

Friday assembly

Print a stack of Star of the Week certificates at the start of term and write the name on whichever one you need. No going back to the computer every week.

Sports day and end of year

A whole class or a whole year group in one press, with the headteacher's signature already on it.

One-off awards

Type the child's name for a single certificate that's worth taking home — effort, kindness, most improved, a headteacher's award.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a certificate?

Pick a style, type the award title and what it's for, and add your school name, logo and signatures. Set how many copies you want and press Print — the A4 PDF opens in a new tab.

Can I print blank certificates and write the names in by hand?

Yes — that's the default. Leave the name box empty and every certificate prints with a ruled writing line. Type a name instead if you only want one.

Can I add my school logo and a signature?

Yes — a logo and up to two signatures, for example the class teacher and the headteacher. They're remembered on your computer, so you only set them up once.

Will it print properly on A4?

Yes — A4 landscape, edge to edge, at print resolution, so the border and lettering stay crisp. There's no Sage branding on the certificate.

What certificate styles are there?

Six — Traditional, Modern, Primary, Laurel, Sports Day and Minimal. Different lettering, borders and layouts, not one design in six colours.

What certificates can I make?

Star of the week, reading and maths awards, sports day, attendance, effort, kindness, headteacher awards or end of year — any classroom or whole-school award.
